If you haven’t had the pleaseure of visiting Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA … you are missing out. The layout leaves a bit to be desired but it is a HotFatGuys playground.
They are still opening bars and restaurants but the current tally according to the website is 14, that’s right 14 place to stuff your face. Over the next several weeks and months we will be attempting to eat at every establishment there and report those findings on these pages.
We do this all for you…. I swear. So let’s dive right in shall we:
The first place on our list to review is “5 Guys Burgers and Fires“. They have 300 + locations in 25 states so even if you aren’t a Massachusetts native, you can still get to one. They started in Arlingon, VA in 1986 and have a cult following in the DC area.
There menu is basic but offers some variety, if your not a burger fan they offer a veggie burger & a grilled cheese. The layout is a 50’s style diner theme (red & white) similar to IN-N-OUT Burger for you west coast people.

The regular burgers are a double patties and the little burgers are single patties with 16 different topping options. The fries are 2 sizes, small & large but they fill a small metal tray with extra fries and dump it in the bag regardless of what size you get. Top it all off with a fountain soda and free refills and you are ready to party.
We are in fact, HotFatGuys so when we order it is always a two burger affair. Here is the rundown of what this HotFatGuy had:
Burger #1 Bacon Cheeseburger with Ketchup, Mustard, Pickles & Grilled Onions. Amazing… great burger.
Burger #2 Little Cheeseburger with BBQ Sauce & Hot Sauce. Decent, a little too much hot sauce.
Large FriesFresh from the frialator, cooked in 100% Peanut Oil with Potatoes from Rigby Idaho, excellent.
Wash it all down with a few refills of Barq and feel the “Itis” wash over me.
Paid $16 and change for it all which is a bit pricey but I won’t have to eat again for at least… I don’t know….
